Mini polishers: 3-inch plates for curves and tight spots
Mini polishers like the RUPES HLR75 use a 75 mm (3 in) plate and 12 mm orbit for curves and compact areas. Battery, runtime and charger notes.

Short answer
A mini polisher uses a small plate for curves, contours and compact areas. RUPES's BigFoot HLR75 iBrid has a 75 mm (3-inch) plate, a 12 mm orbit and 3,000-5,500 rpm. It runs on RUPES's 18 V 2.5 Ah pack for about 35-45 minutes, or continuously with the iBrid Power Adapter, and RUPES says its charger is designed for that pack.

Watch out for
- 18 V does not mean the same pack. RUPES describes the HLR75 pack and the HLR15/HLR21 iBrid 5 Ah pack as different systems.
- The charger is pack-specific. RUPES says the HLR75 charger is custom designed for the iBrid Mini's battery pack.

Questions
Does the RUPES HLR75 battery fit the HLR15 or HLR21?
Do not assume so. Both are 18 V, but RUPES lists the HLR15/HLR21 iBrid on an 18 V 5 Ah pack and describes the HLR75's 2.5 Ah pack and charger as its own system.[1][2]
How long does a mini polisher battery last?
RUPES quotes about 35-45 minutes for the HLR75 on its 18 V 2.5 Ah pack, and about 35 minutes to recharge. It can also run continuously from the iBrid Power Adapter.[1]
